The goals of this
department are:
1.Raising the
awareness of democracy to Yemeni society at all levels.
2.Encouraging studies and research covering the concepts of democracy, human
rights and civil society.
3.Enhancing the role of civil society institutions and participating in raising
the level of their effectiveness.
4.Enhancing the effectiveness of these organizations through training and
cooperation in all development and democracy related activities.
5.Participating in democracy rehabilitation programs, through cooperating with
democratic, development and civil society world-wide.
6.Raising the awareness of the importance of human and equal rights through
training, rehabilitation, and participation in the proliferation of theses
concepts in academic curricula.
