SANAA-  The Queen Arwa University (QAU) in Sanaa is preparing for its Ninth Cultural Week, scheduled for the end of May.

The week will be called Tourism is a National Wealth. Work at the QAU is a full swing, and the cultural week will coincide with the celebration of the national day, the 16th anniversary of the May 22 unification of Yemen.

During the week, the university will celebrate the graduation of batches of students from different colleges.

The cultural week will include many activities in the field of culture and sports. There will be sport competition, poetry reading and theatrical performances that will help in discovering the students talents in creative activities.

The week will have sections for several Arabian embassies and a section for Yemeni heritage. This is aimed at introducing Yemeni culture to young people and also to promote tourism in the same way. This cultural week is also coinciding with the year 2006 as a year of tourism
